“We already had one Dachshund but one is never enough, right! So we looked around for a puppy and found Jackie on the Kennel Club website. We face-timed a number of times and really liked that Jackie was checking us out to make sure we were responsible owners who would look after her puppy well.

The whole process was made easy by Jackie and we were thrilled to get almost daily videos and pictures of how our boy was doing. Another very thoughtful thing was that, once we had chosen a name, Jackie called our pup by this name - just one of many small things to help us and our puppy settle in our home easily as possible.

We collected our boy at 12 weeks which was much better than the 8 weeks old of our first pup and Duke was chipped and had all his jabs. Jackie gave a lovely puppy pack with Duke with a blanket and toys - all to help settle him in.

We have had Duke three years now and he is the healthiest boy, he has had no health issues and is strong and fit. Particularly with Dachshunds, it is so important to get them from a good breeder and we have had friends with dachsies who have had all sorts of health issues - we have had none of these with Duke (long may this continue).

The whole process was made so easy by Jackie and Duke is the most wonderful dog with a fantastic temperament…….but two is never enough, right!!! So, last June, we made the journey to Jackie again and picked up our third dachsie - Dexter. Again, a wonderfully healthy, wonderful temperament and is adored by Duke and tolerated by our other, older dachshund.

I cannot recommend Jackie and Daxtroupe highly enough and, if my husband wouldn’t leave me if I did, I’d be back for a third puppy from them!”
